The purpose of the Third City Community Clinic is to provide basic medical, dental and pharmaceutical care to low income individuals ineligible for medical insurance or government paid medical assistance. The clinic will provide opportunities for education, behavioral service screening, information and referrals which will result in improved health for community members most at risk.

MISTY SCHAECHER
Executive Director
Misty joined the Third City Community Clinic in October, 2023. She has a huge passion for public health and promoting health equity for the Grand Island Community. Misty has her Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science from Bellevue University, as well as a Master's in Business Administration from Doane University. Misty has extensive training in diversity & inclusion as well as a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Her previous work experience includes: a Certification as Forensic Interviewer of Children, working in a Title X, Women's Health Clinic, along with working extensively with the homeless and near homeless population of Grand Island and surrounding communities.

Jane started at the clinic in Sept 2020.
In addition to being a great nurse she loves spending time with her family.
