Third City Clinic recognized by Hospital Charitable Services Award

2017 — Third City Community Clinic in Grand Island was recently recognized as a finalist for the 2015 Jackson Healthcare Hospital Charitable Services Awards.

Third City Community Clinic which is supported by CHI Health St. Francis, was among 52 hospital-sponsored community health programs gave been selected out of 101 nominations, submitted from across the country, based on the following criteria: impact, collaboration, leading practice, transfer-ability and innovation.

“These initiatives are not along in giving back to their communities. ” said Charles R. Evans, FACHE, Chairman of the Hospital Charitable Services Awards program. “What makes them truly extraordinary is the impact they achieve through their commitment to serving others and the outstanding ways that they make a substantial and caring contributions.

In February, 10th of the nominated hospital outreach programs were awarded for their innovative approaches to impacting lives in local communities around the nation. Winning programs shared equally in $100,000 of unrestricted funds offered through the Hospital Charitable Services Awards, a national program sponsored by Alanta-based Jackson Healthcare.
